Week 3 2026

Sadly, I didn't really take the opportunity to write on time. It's already Tuesday of Week 4 of 2026.

I'd say I've had a good, productive week.

Quite the family week actually - - Spent time with my dad twice; once on Wednesday where he really helped me clean up my house and once more on Saturday to retrieve my keys and catch up a little bit. Spent time with my brother and his girlfriend, my little brother driving me around places now, me being the third wheel hah.

Hung out with my in-laws in San Francisco and they also visited my wife and I the next day for MLK holiday. I got to cook and show them some new foods from the neighborhood that they've never had. The Sunday in San Francisco was pretty eventful - tried out Khao Tiew; amazing Thai food to celebrate my brother-in-law's girlfriend's birthday. Ended the night with a load of dessert and 15 rounds of Mario Party.

Saturday was pretty nuts - Saw my buddy Matt and his wife (together) for the first time in a long time. Hung out with him and his toddler daughter and had some bomb ass chicken sandwiches at a filipino owned restaurant. Drove to my parents house to see my dad and brother, then had dinner with Kat. I thought the night was over but then my buddy Ivan called me up to hit the gym. It was the first time in a long time where we got to hang out and catch up and then we ended the night eating tacos and burritos at 12 am going into Sunday.

The weather, although cold is still quite a vibe outside. It kind of makes these moments memorable.

It's been a really good weekend and writing this helps me look back and be grateful for this time spent. My heart is full as well as my stomach. I don't have much to complain about.

Other small highlights:
- listened to the new A$AP Rocky album
- discovered a new band, Crushed
- Posted on instagram for the first time in 3 years?
- Ran 4.66 miles with my middle school buddy Mike P
- Exhausted but grateful to be training a new employee at work; shes amazing

Peace, Love, Gratitude
